Born of Fire and Light

In 1967, lightning struck the plains of Tanzania, setting the hills ablaze — and when the flames faded, the earth revealed a miracle: shimmering blue crystals unlike any seen before. Mistaken at first for sapphires, these gems transformed with heat into mesmerizing hues of blue and violet, shifting and dancing in different light. Thus, tanzanite was born — a gemstone rarer than diamonds, found only in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Treasured for its color and its story, tanzanite is a jewel born of fire, transformed by light, and destined to enchant.
