Susan Grant is the owner, CEO, and personal jeweler behind Grants Jewelry.
As CEO and founder of Grants Jewelry, Susan spends her days bringing clients’ visions to life. Customers come with a spark of an idea, an engagement-ring dream, a special pendant, or a family story; together, they create a signature piece that holds memory and emotion.
More than 30 years ago, Susan arrived in New York City with a dream and the determination to become an expert diamantaire. She went door to door through the jewelers’ building on 47th Street with parcels of diamonds in hand, introducing herself, learning the business, and building lifelong relationships.
In 1990, she founded S & G Star Corporation, a worldwide supplier of polished diamonds. Today, those relationships with craftspeople and suppliers help Grants Jewelry make clients’ dreams real. Her most valuable skill is listening closely enough to understand what matters beneath the words.
Combining skill, passion, and referrals, her retail business continues to grow into a global personal-jeweler practice. Susan takes great pride in the fact that customers return time and again.
Susan is deeply passionate about women in business. Her time at Harvard Business School shaped that commitment, and she continues to support fellow alumni and build a warm, inclusive, high-performing culture.
Outside the showroom, she enjoys refuge on Cedar Lake, New York’s music scene, travel with friends, and Guitar Expos with her husband, a luthier.
