A small inspection can prevent a painful loss.
Prongs wear down, settings loosen, clasps weaken, and metal becomes thin over time. Those changes are easy to miss until a stone or a cherished piece is lost. A regular inspection can catch the problem while it is still straightforward to correct.
Susan recently helped a client restore an engagement ring after its center diamond was lost during a trip. The ring had been worn every day for more than twenty years without an inspection. The experience was a difficult reminder that even the jewelry we trust most needs occasional care.
