August’s birthstone is peridot, and one of the most memorable peridot pieces I have ever handled is this extraordinary pair of earrings designed by award-winning jewelry designer and my good friend, Bella Campbell. I call them August Leaves. The large pear-shaped peridots, each weighing over 8 carats, are surrounded by vivid tsavorite garnets and diamonds that create a beautiful leaf-like form, while tiny touches of orange garnet add contrast and make the earrings even more colorful and distinctive. They are beautifully detailed and completely one of a kind. When Bella first brought them to me, I was wowed, and as luck would have it, I had a client who was looking for something truly special. It was a match meant to be!
